Melting Pot
My life this past few months has been a blurry of events that sometimes I can't seem to tell if it is really me. I can't say that I'm very happy but I am contented and comfortable with what's happening. I get to meet a lot of people some which I have no idea that we have a connection of some sort and that they'll know the same person that I know. Some of them has a huge impact on what I do and how I perceive myself. I am happy to be surrounded by different people, most of them have different backgrounds that make up a very interesting personality. I see a world that I have never seen before and talk to people that I never dreamt of having conversations with.
That's the advantage in a call center, other than being able to practice your English communication skills, it is primarily a lesson in interpersonal relationships. How you deal with other people and how you treat other people.
It's a whole new world.
Last Friday was payday, my friends from work decided to hit the KTV so we can practice our vocals. I had a blast singing and dancing as if I have known this people my entire life. I never felt any hestitation to sing or bust a move. It felt natural and fun whereas when I was with my friends back in college it would really take an effort to make me sing or whatnot. We had a couple of drinks but we need to leave the KTV at 7PM so we decided to return to Shaw (where our office is located) and join our other colleagues to continue the drinking session. We just talked and laughed until it was time to get home. I was so happy and comfortable with them (okay, I'm using those words enough already!) and I feel that I belong in this world (for now) I'm happy I get to know this people and I'm happy I will be working with them once we get on the floor.
Plus, I'm might be liking someone at work.
I have amazing "barkada" at work.
So many things to look forward too.

name is Ma. Francia Camacho Rosero.
Libran (go figure where her birth date falls) in the year 1985. Sees
herself as a leader,
she never avoid situations
where she can learn and improve. She
has a knack for reading and really likes her skin color
(hence, the inspiration for the picture) because it
makes her truly Filipino. She loves to sing while doing the dishes and dance
while cleaning. She loves to watch movies and laugh with Vic and Jose. She digs
Disney movies and still loves Lindsay Lohan although she metamorphosed to
something undistinguishable. She has great and big dreams
both for herself and family but find those dreams really selfish, since she
hasn't figured out yet what she can for her country. She would love to work for
humanity. But for the mean time she's just working on familiarizing herself with
every word in the dictionary. A destructive perfectionist, she loves to ask how
things work and likes to know why things works this way and not that way. She is
fascinated by the Arab Culture, Mafia and organized crimes and she really likes
History. She loves watching the news and listening to speeches. She likes
watching sports although she doesn't really know how to play them and one habit
she has been trying to overcome is stalking actors and actresses. She is a frustrated athlete.
And she's serious about her spirituality.
